We collaborated with GoodRx to establish a cohesive design system, refresh their branding, and drive higher enrollments. Additionally, we supported the launch of a home delivery service, transforming how users accessed their medications.

Problem

  • Streamlining experience, elevating trust
    GoodRx faced the challenge of a fragmented user experience and outdated branding, which affected user engagement and the perception of its services. There was also an opportunity to simplify how users enrolled in their programs and accessed medication, especially with the potential to introduce home delivery. The existing platform needed a unified design system to streamline interactions and present GoodRx as a modern, trusted healthcare partner.

    This project presented a unique opportunity to redefine the user experience within the healthcare space. With no existing design system in place (Did we mention that we are experts in design systems), we had the chance to build a comprehensive, scalable framework from scratch that could unify GoodRx’s digital presence. This required not only visual consistency but also a strategic approach to enhancing the brand's identity and simplifying user interactions.

Strategy

  1. Design systematized
    Built a design system from scratch to provide a unified and consistent user experience across all GoodRx digital products. This involved defining components, design patterns, and guidelines that would streamline the development process and improve user interactions.

  2. Brand upgrade
    Updated the branding to reflect GoodRx’s mission of affordability and accessibility. The refreshed brand identity was incorporated into every touchpoint, reinforcing trust and emphasizing the company’s role in making healthcare more accessible. The customers were often using the product for very serious situations. We wanted the design to feel welcoming and delightful—but never difficult or silly.

  3. Enhanced enrollments
    We redesigned the enrollment process to be more intuitive and user-friendly, simplifying sign-ups and increasing engagement. This streamlined approach helped users connect with GoodRx’s offerings quickly and effectively.

  4. Launching convenience
    We supported the launch of a home delivery service, seamlessly integrating it into the platform to provide users with a more convenient way to access their medications. The integration ensured the service aligned with GoodRx’s mission and brand identity while enhancing user satisfaction.
